At the same time, Gotham Knights has also been canceled for older generation consoles.

Warner Bros. Interactive Entertainment has released the first gameplay footage of Nightwing and Red Hood characters from Gotham Knights, an open world action and role-playing game developed by WB Games Montréal. Narrated by game director Geoff Ellenor, this 14-minute footage shows how each of the characters is different and gives an insight into the game’s story after the death of the Batman character. Emphasizing the action in the open-world Gotham, the video shows Nightwing’s glider, flying trapeze, and Red Hood’s mystical leap. All characters will be able to use the Batcycle.

The video also shows the Belfry, which will act as a home base for players. From here, each character can select missions from within the Batcomputer. This is how players will advance the story. The characters Nightwing, Robin, Batgirl, and Red Hood are all selectable, but it’s not yet clear whether certain missions will require certain characters. Warner Bros. Interactive Entertainment also announced that Gotham Knights will no longer be released for PlayStation 4 and Xbox One.

Warner Bros. Interactive Entertainment stated, “The game Gotham Knights is scheduled to be released worldwide on October 25, 2022.
