More than 3,000 Activision employees work on the Call of Duty series

Speaking during a recent press conference, Activision confirmed that a gigantic team is working on games in the Call of Duty franchise . According to the publisher, at least 3,000 employees currently have this role in the company.

The news comes on the heels of the report that CoD: Vanguard didn’t live up to the company’s expectations , performing well below expectations — apparently, the community doesn’t really like the WWII theme. At the conference, the publisher said the following:

We’re working on the most ambitious plan in Call of Duty history, with over 3,000 people now working on the franchise and a return to the Modern Warfare scene that delivered our most successful title of all time.

As of December 31, 2021, Activision Blizzard had approximately 9,800 full-time and part-time employees, with 68% in North America, 25% in the Europe, Middle East and Africa regions, and approximately 7% in the Asia-Pacific region. Pacific.
