How to get to inazuma in genshin impact | Guide to Getting to Inazuma

Appearing with the 2.0 update, Inazuma is a flagship destination in the world of Genshin Impact. Find out how to unlock access and get to this island.

In the world of gatcha games, Genshin Impact has established itself as one of the most popular titles. Offering both seasonal events and new characters on a regular basis, it also seduces with the richness of its universe.

If Teyvat is a vast world to explore, 3 regions won over players both by their scenario and by the chests and events that are linked.

The three regions in question are Mondstadt, Liyue but especially Inazuma . However, the latter is only accessible under certain conditions .

Inazuma, a region highly anticipated by fans

Inazuma is the region introduced with Title Update 2.0. One of the 7 nations of Teyvat, it is accessible by boat. However, it is a little less welcoming than the others.

On this archipelago, tensions reign and the island has very fierce monsters. Nevertheless, the Fatui can circulate there more easily because they have diplomatic immunity. Once disembarked, the heroes can travel through an archipelago of 6 islands.

An archipelago largely inspired by Japan

The 6 islands in question are Narukami, Seirai, Yashiori, Tsurumi, Watatsumi and finally Kannazuka . Each island has a unique atmosphere, villages and chests to discover.

Whether in its surroundings or in the composition of the archipelago, there are several references to the land of the rising sun. However, one of the central elements of the archipelago is on the island of Narukami.

This island shelters the city of Inazuma but especially the Tenshukaku, the residence of the shogun Raiden. Note that the building is inspired by a real element of Japanese architecture.

Indeed, the tenshukaku (also called tenshu) was the real name given to the keep or the main tower of Japanese castles. Echoing this Japanese tradition, this name was used in Genshin Impact.

Several characters from this region already available

If the region made its debut on July 21, 2021 in Europe, the characters from this archipelago did not wait for its launch to appear. The presentation trailer gives pride of place to the beautiful Kamisato Ayaka , one of the few 5-star characters from Inazuma.

However, other characters were born and raised on the archipelago. This is the case for 3 other 5-star characters: Kaedehara Kazuha, Yoimiya and Baal .

Other characters from Inazuma include Sayu (a 4-star character), Gorou, Thomas, Yae Miko, Kujou Sara, and Sangonomiya Kokomi .

How to access Inazuma Archipelago in Genshin Impact?

The characters and the story of Inazuma are elements that have tempted many players. The environment of the archipelago, inspired by Japan, also makes you want to join it very quickly. However, this is not possible.

If you have started the Genshin Impact adventure, it will take you some time to reach Inazuma because the area is considered high level.

The conditions to be met before starting the access quest

The first thing to know is that Inazuma is an area reserved only for characters with at least adventure level 30.

If this is not the case, you will have to reach this level to continue the adventure. This is valid for all players, including those who obtained Inazuma characters before setting foot on the Archipelago .

To increase your level of adventure easily, you can complete the daily commissions of the guild of adventurers, complete certain domains or overcome the various bosses.

However, having reached adventure level 30 is not the only requirement. You also need to have completed all the Archons Chapter I quests as well as the Archons Chapter II – Act 1 quest “Merciless Divinity and Eternal Euthymia”.

For this, you will absolutely have to do all the quests of the main story as well as the first of chapter 2. This one is accessible since patch 1.6 but also from Kazuha’s banner.

Embark towards Inazuma

Once these conditions are met, access to Inazuma will become easier. If you successfully completed the “Autumn Wind and Scarlet Leaves” prologue, a new quest should appear in your journal.

This one is called “All Sails Out” and is considered the sequel to the Archons Chapter II – Act 1 quest.

To complete it, you will first need to go to the Adventurers’ Guild. There, it will be necessary to discuss with Catherine the situation of Inazuma . Listen to what she has to say and just keep going until you get to Beidou’s boat.

If she can be played in DPS in your team, in this specific case she will play the captains of ships and take you to Inazuma.

Is it possible to reach Inazuma using the ice bridge?

Finally, there is one last detail to consider. It happens that to travel on the water points or the sea, some players create an ice bridge. If the option is very practical, be aware that it will not be possible to join Inazuma this way.

Note that when the patch was launched, it was only possible to explore 3 of the islands in the archipelago ( NarukamiKannazuka  and  Yashiori). However, this point has been corrected as the other islands were unlocked in patch 2.1 as well as patch 2.2 released in late summer and sometime fall 2021.

So even if you have met the requirements, be aware that you will have to use the traditional method if you want to explore the archipelago inspired by Japanese landscapes!
