Forspoken will add support for AMD FidelityFX on PC and PlayStation 5 platforms.

Forspoken, which we saw a 6-minute gameplay video the other day, has now appeared again. The gameplay video in question was published by Game Informer, and today a new video showing the game’s technologies has been released directly by the developer team. This 3-minute video, which you can watch from above, focuses on the technologies that will be included in the PC version of the game. However, we can see that some of these technologies can be actively used on the PlayStation 5 console. If you wish, let’s detail these images in the rest of our news.

The first technology shown for Forspoken was AMD FidelityFX. This technology used on PC and PlayStation 5 platforms; it positively affects the game’s ambience structure , reflections and noise reduction methods. It is also stated that AMD FidelityFX Super Resolution 1.0 technology will be used in the game, and it is said that the 2.0 version update can also be applied to the game. Although AMD FidelityFX will be available on PC and PlayStation 5 console in general, it is not specified on which platforms AMD FidelityFX Super Resolution 1.0 and AMD FidelityFX Super Resolution 2.0 support will take place.

Apart from all these, it is also announced that Microsoft DirectStorage technology will be supported. Thanks to this technology, an M.2 SSD can load the game in 1.9 seconds. SATA SSD, on the other hand, offers a loading time of 3.7 seconds. A standard HDD can load the game in 21.5 seconds. It is also stated at the end that the Variable Shading feature will be supported in the game within AMD FidelityFX. We guess that the upload speeds will be valid for both PC and PlayStation 5. Variable Shading will also be used in the same way. So, what do you think about these technologies and the screening? We will be waiting for your comments.
