Grand Theft Auto
Grand Theft Auto

After an earlier delay, Grand Theft Auto V will be released tomorrow for the PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X|S. This current-gen version naturally brings several graphical updates and other improvements. You can read more information about this here .

Now that the game is also made available for the current generation of consoles, you can of course expect shorter loading times. Loading screens in Grand Theft Auto V have always been quite long, so a version that loads faster is very welcome.

But, how much faster are the loading times of the current-gen version of Grand Theft Auto V exactly? Video Games Chronicle has put it to the test and compared the PS5 version to the PS4 version. The result, which can be seen in the video below, is very clear. On the PlayStation 4, it takes about a minute and a half to start the single player from the main menu. With the PlayStation 5 version, this is only 27 seconds, so three times faster.
