Exploring Other Islands – Merchant Location
Playing on 3 different servers or seeds, the trader never spawned on the main island. You need to build a raft or a Karve to explore the surrounding islands near you. As you explore different islands, the merchant icon will appear on the map even before you explore parts of the islands.

The items sold by the trader are all optional, but give a huge boost in exploring dungeons, fights, or a new food source. If you’re having trouble finding the third piece of meat as a buff, you can fish for raw fish so you have a combination of raw meat, necktail and raw fish for maximum health with easily arable resources.
The Dverger Circlet is used as a light source for Surtling Cores to enter delves and dungeons. Megingjord is a big damage buff for combat, but her biggest feature is adding 150 more weights to your inventory. This makes Megingjord a priority if you have 950 coins idle.
Ymir Flesh is used to craft stronger weapons like Frostner. Required in large quantities, but not required for quality upgrades on weapons that need them. Once you collect enough resources in the mountain biome (silver ores), they will be available. Other than that, Megingjord will be much more helpful at the beginning and towards the end.
How Can You Sell Your Items?
When talking to the trader Haldor, simply press the lower right button to sell the marketable items you own. Any item tagged as Valuable is only used to trade with merchants for more coins. Items such as rubies, amber, and pearls are sold to the merchant for coins, and you can find them inside the chests of random extraterrestrial outposts or dungeons.
Just spam the sell button because you don’t have the option to choose it but basically, all those valuables need to be sold already.

All of these items are complementary and will consistently update other items as new information emerges. The biggest boost you can get is having the ability to raise raw fish and increase your carrying capacity by 150 weights from Megingjord.
