Political scientist Mukhin called demilitarization and demilitarization of Ukraine a decision in the negotiations.
Ukraine will have to settle with the demilitarization and demilitarization of the country. This is the only possible decision of the Ukrainian side in negotiations with Russia in an interview with Izvestia called Alexei Mukhin, a political scientist, general director of the Center for Political Information.
“As far as I understand, the Russian position is formulated quite clearly and firmly. This is the demilitarization and denazification of Ukraine. Ukraine will have to come to terms with this, ”the specialist emphasized.
According to him, the denazification and demilitarization of Ukraine will take place in any case – by agreement or in the course of a special military operation to protect Donbass. It is necessary to come to terms with this, Mukhin concluded.
On February 28, the delegations of Russia and Ukraine started negotiations in the Gomel region on the Belarusian-Ukrainian border. According to the BelTA agency, the meeting is taking place in a secret location code-named “fisherman’s house” on the banks of the Pripyat River . The location is not disclosed for security reasons.
As noted by the Ukrainian side, the negotiations will be held without preconditions. At the same time, Russia insisted that negotiations with Kiev would only be possible after the Armed Forces (AF) of Ukraine laid down their arms and ceased resistance.
