LinkedIn launches platform with podcasts about business and careers

LinkedIn has launched its own podcast network called the LinkedIn Podcast Network, where listeners will be able to find a variety of content related to careers and business, always presented by industry professionals in the chosen category. News of the launch comes during a time of strong growth for both LinkedIn and the podcast industry.

According to LinkedIn, the LinkedIn podcast network is an experiment based on “Hello Monday,” a podcast hosted by Jesse Hempel based on the evolving nature of work produced by LinkedIn News, the company’s news division. The new platform is ad supported and sponsored by companies such as IBM and Verizon.

The launch comes at a time when both LinkedIn itself and the podcast industry are booming.

For now, the content is only available in English. By clicking on one of the podcasts, the listener is directed to the program, available on Apple Podcasts, but which can be listened to on the computer without necessarily accessing the application.

Among the programs are the Great Technology Podcast, Black Table Conversation and Rethink Moments with Rachel Botsman.
