Using the new filters in Meet is very easy and you can choose from a wide range of options. You can access this feature by joining a meeting with someone or creating a meeting using your personal Gmail account.

Simply tap on your face to select the effect you want to apply to your face. You can tap filters to apply different filters. Once you’ve selected the one you like the most, you can tap the X icon at the bottom to close the Effects overlay. 

Now you’re back to the main meeting screen and everyone can see you with your new avatar. You can also see the effect applied in the thumbnail of the meeting screen. 

How to remove animal faces with Google Meet

With Google Meet, removing filters isn’t too complicated. If you selected a filter during a meeting but want to disable it, first tap the Effects button in the camera preview at the bottom right of the screen. 

This will bring up the Effects screen from where you previously applied the filter. To disable the filter, tap the No Effect tab at the bottom, then select the Cancel icon (the icon with a diagonal piercing circle).

The selected filter will be deleted. You can now tap the “X” icon in the effect overlay to return to the conference screen.
