Essential Starter is a free collaboration solution for business organizations and users that can be used quickly and easily by anyone with a work email account.

When organizations that rely on legacy productivity tools want to transition to a hybrid work environment, Essential Starter provides a simple, free, and easy-to-use option. There’s no need to create a new e-mail address, convert files, or install new software or plug-ins. It is not a free solution that only converts to a paid pattern after a certain period of time, but it is characterized by being able to use it for free without time limits.

Google launches Workspace Essentials Starter Edition

As long as you have a company email account, you can use Google Workspace Tools as a collaboration solution through Google Workspace Essentials Starter Edition. It is a free solution that anyone can use and manage collaborators using an easy-to-use dashboard. (source: google)

Essential Starter can be used immediately with a company email account. Even the trial versions often require payment information, such as credit card information, which is not the case for Essential Starter. Once you’ve signed up for Essentials Starter, you can invite team members to collaborate using Google Docs, Slides, Sheets, Chat, Drive, Meet, and more.

Survey respondents said that according to Economist Impact’s global survey of hybrid operations, ‘new technologies that allow flexibility of time and space’ were most important to realizing hybrid work environments. And Essential Starter reflects this, focusing on maximizing the flexibility to use it on any device and location of your choice.

Implemented with a cloud-first approach, Google Workspaces features that users can focus on their work and tasks without worrying about management or security issues. These operating and service environments have long been taken for granted, but the Essential Starter is worthwhile in that it makes it easy and fast for anyone to use.

You can select the Google Workspace function you’re already using and use it for free as a digital online-based collaboration solution. For example, up to 60 minutes of unlimited face-to-face or team-based video conferencing can be done with 3 to 100 people. If you want to share real-time messages or files with the whole team, you can use chat.

With Spaces, a tighter integration with Google Spaces tools like Chat, Drive, Docs, Sheets, Slides, and Meet, you can share knowledge and ideas while discussing a topic, or create a project or community team. It is also possible to edit, save and share more than 1000 types of files, including Microsoft Office documents and PDFs, without any file conversion.

Google Drive storage provided to Essential Starter can be used up to 15GB, the maximum available to users of the free version. Google Drive capacity is kept separate from personal accounts and Google Workspace Essentials Starter user accounts, and team members can be easily added or deleted using a simple dashboard, making it easy to manage who is collaborating.
